“There is no world where he is not.”
Warum: The supplied sources show Jannik Sinner withdrew from the 2026 US Open with a right-knee injury (official US Open/ATP coverage dated 2026-08-21), and the official men’s singles main draw was then published on 2026-08-27. The US Open’s draw article (2026-08-27) explicitly states the draw was released “since world No. 1 Jannik Sinner was forced to withdraw,” and independent media (Bleacher Report, ESPN) likewise report Sinner will not be participating and describe the draw released on Aug. 27. Those independent, dated reports constitute positive evidence that Sinner’s name (or an unambiguous variant) did not appear as a competitor in the first published men’s singles main-draw bracket.
