Privacy Policy - Clutch
Last updated: May 19, 2026
Clutch is a free-to-play mobile prediction game for iOS and Android. In Clutch, users place predictions on binary markets using an in-app soft currency called Credits and may earn a separate reward currency called Points based on winning outcomes.
Clutch does not involve real-money wagering. Users do not stake fiat currency on market outcomes, Credits have no cash value and cannot be cashed out, and Points may only be redeemed in-app for third-party digital gift cards delivered by email. This Privacy Policy explains how Rodger Studio collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use Clutch.

Virtual Currency, Purchases, and Rewards
Clutch may offer both Credit packs and recurring subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play, with purchase orchestration and entitlement management supported by RevenueCat. Apple and Google process payment transactions directly, and we do not receive your payment card information.
Credits are virtual in-app items only. They are non-transferable, have no cash value, are not redeemable for cash, and cannot be withdrawn to a bank account, crypto wallet, or any other external destination. Points are earned through gameplay outcomes and may be redeemed only for eligible digital gift cards or e-rewards made available in the app. Points are not cash, cannot be resold, and cannot be transferred between users.
When We Share Information
We share information with service providers and platforms that help us operate Clutch. We also may disclose information when required to comply with law, protect our rights, prevent fraud, or complete a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition.
Third-Party Services
Clutch relies on the following third-party services and platforms:
Firebase Authentication and Firebase Analytics
Firebase helps us authenticate users and measure app analytics. Firebase may process identifiers, email address, device information, events, and install-related data.
Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In
If you choose these login methods, Apple or Google provides authentication tokens and basic account information needed to sign you in.
PostHog
PostHog provides product analytics, error tracking support, and session replay. PostHog may receive event data, screen interactions, user identifiers, device metadata, and replay information from in-app sessions.
Adjust
Adjust provides marketing attribution and install tracking. When tracking permission is granted where required, Adjust may collect advertising identifiers, attribution data, device information, IP address, and app event data.
Meta / Facebook SDK
The Meta SDK helps measure advertising campaign performance and attribution. When tracking permission is granted where required, Meta may receive advertising identifiers, app events, device information, and similar attribution data.
Google Mobile Ads / AdMob
AdMob is used for rewarded video ads that may grant Credits. AdMob may process advertising identifiers, device information, and ad interaction data related to ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.
RevenueCat and App Store / Play Billing
RevenueCat helps manage in-app purchases, subscriptions, receipts, and entitlements. Apple and Google process purchases directly. We do not receive or store your payment card number. We may receive purchase status, transaction identifiers, and subscription state.
Tremendous
Tremendous fulfills digital gift-card redemptions. To send your reward, we may share recipient email, reward selection details, denomination, currency, and related redemption identifiers.
Expo Push Notifications and Expo Updates
Expo services help us deliver push notifications and over-the-air updates. These services may process push tokens, app version, runtime version, and device information.
Hosting, Database, and Internal Operations Tools
Our hosted infrastructure, including backend hosting and our Postgres database, stores and processes the data described in this policy. Internal operations tools such as Slack may receive limited operational alerts or aggregated logs when needed to maintain the service.
OpenAI
OpenAI is used only for server-side, admin-driven editorial tooling related to market generation. We do not send user personal information, balances, or redemption data to OpenAI for this purpose.
We do not sell or rent your personal information for direct monetary compensation. However, our use of advertising, attribution, and measurement tools such as Meta, Adjust, and AdMob may involve sharing identifiers, app events, and related data with third parties for attribution, ad measurement, rewarded-ad delivery, and fraud prevention. Depending on your jurisdiction, including California, some of this activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can limit this data sharing by declining tracking permission where presented and adjusting your device settings.
Data Security
- Data is transmitted using encryption in transit.
- Server-side systems use access controls, logging, validation, and rate limiting to help protect the in-app economy and user data.
