About Clutch
Clutch is a free-to-play prediction game where you forecast the news with friends — using credits, never real money.
What is Clutch?
Clutch turns the news into binary (yes/no) prediction markets. You spend in-app credits to back what you think will happen, watch the odds move as others play, and earn points when you're right. There is no cash at any point: credits and points are play-money scores, not currency. They have no monetary value and cannot be cashed out.
Free to play — no real money, not gambling
Clutch is completely free to play. You can never deposit, stake, or win real money. Because nothing of monetary value is wagered or paid out, Clutch is a game of skill and fun, not gambling. New players receive a welcome gift of credits just for joining.
How prediction markets work
Every market is a single yes/no question about something that hasn't happened yet — an election, a match, an awards night, a product launch. You back YES or NO with credits, and the market's odds reflect what the whole community currently believes. As more people play, the percentage moves in real time, so the market becomes a live read on what the crowd thinks will happen. When the event plays out, the market resolves to its real answer and correct predictions are rewarded.
Where the odds come from
Clutch odds are set by the players, not a bookmaker. Each market starts near 50/50 and shifts as credits are staked on each side, so the price you see is the community’s aggregate estimate at that moment. Many markets mirror real-world events also tracked by public prediction platforms and news sources, which are linked on each market page so you can check the evidence yourself. Nothing is a guaranteed outcome — the odds are an opinion, not a promise.
Points and rewards
When your prediction is right, you win points ⚡. Points are a play-money score you can redeem inside the app for real-world goodies such as gift cards and charity donations. You never pay to play and never wager real money to earn them — points come only from making good calls.
Who it's for
Clutch is built for anyone who likes following the news, sports, and pop culture and thinks they can call what happens next. It's designed to be a light, social game you play with friends — compete on the leaderboard, argue in the comments, and see who reads the moment best. Because there's no real money involved, it's the stakes without the risk.
Who operates Clutch
Clutch is built and operated by Rodger Studio, an independent mobile app studio that designs consumer apps focused on great user experience. Questions, feedback, and press enquiries are always welcome — see the contact link below.
