Results Aug 24🤖 Context
The market required that the champion listed on the PGA Tour's official final leaderboard or in routine coverage such as ESPN or the AP be shown as representing the United States. Multiple reputable outlets reported that Wyndham Clark won the 2026 BMW Championship at Bellerive on August 23, 2026, and the CBS Sports final leaderboard shows a USA flag beside his name, with Golf Channel, Golfweek and GolfToday also identifying him as the winner and as American. Because the official and ordinary coverage show the champion as representing the United States, the market resolves yes.

Final crowd probability
The crowd was 56% sure, and they got it wrong.
Why: Multiple independent, reputable outlets reporting on the 2026 BMW Championship at Bellerive (Aug 20–23, 2026) identify Wyndham Clark as the tournament winner and show/indicate he represents the United States. Examples in the supplied evidence: GolfToday (Aug 23, 2026) headlined that Wyndham Clark won; Golfweek (Aug 23, 2026) reported Clark birdied the final three holes to win; CBS Sports' final leaderboard lists Wyndham Clark in first place with a USA flag beside his name; Golf Channel's final recap also reports Clark's victory. Because three or more independent credible sources corroborate the same dated outcome (Clark winning on Aug 23, 2026) and those sources indicate he represents the USA, the correct resolution is YES.

Given that the tournament is tomorrow and top U.S. players are likely to be in contention, I'm betting on a U.S. champion. History supports this expectation.
