Interesting. I would have expected Suno to add watermarks not because they're required by law, but in their own self interest, so that they can easily identify songs they have generated and punish people who use them commercially without a premium subscription.

No chance, the reason is simple: doing this would reduce the audio quality compared to those who won't, and without a global law to force models to have audio watermarks, Suno will choose not to go all the way.
