Resolved: Yes
Results Aug 11🤖 Context
YES if the official ATP Tour match results or draws for the Montreal ATP event list Luca Van Assche as having started at least one singles or doubles match during that tournament's official dates, according to the ATP Tour website (tournament page or Van Assche's player activity page). Matches count if at least one point was played or if the match is recorded as retired after play began, and walkovers or withdrawals with no play do not count. If the Montreal tournament is cancelled and no matches are held, the market resolves NO.

Final crowd probability
The crowd was 90% sure, and they nailed it.
Why: The supplied sources show Van Assche won the Estoril title on 2026-07-26 (ATP Tour report) and then appears in the Montreal draw. Most decisively, TennisAbstract's match log lists a Montreal R128 match dated 2026-08-02: Titouan Droguet d. Luca Van Assche 6-4 2-6 7-6(7), which is a full recorded match (i.e. play occurred). The Tennis Canada/Omnium Banque Nationale athlete page also lists his 1st-round match vs Droguet. These contemporaneous, independent records establish he started at least one singles match in Montreal in the tournament week immediately after his Estoril victory.
