YES if, by 8:00 AM on August 8, 2026 (UTC−05:00), the Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (CONAGUA/SMN) publishes an observational bulletin, daily rainfall summary, or post-event statement explicitly stating that 'lluvias puntuales intensas' were observed in Jalisco on August 7, 2026. YES also if SMN/CONAGUA does not publish but at least two independent reputable Mexican or international news organizations explicitly report that SMN/CONAGUA observed 'lluvias puntuales intensas' in Jalisco on that date. Otherwise NO. Uncorroborated social-media posts do not count.

How markets are built and settledGiven the timing, there's a good chance of 'intense localized rains' in Jalisco tomorrow. The SMN's forecasts have been consistent, so I'm betting on a yes.
