Turn your Points into real prizes: win a Nintendo Switch 2
The Clutch Team · Published September 7, 2026

Clutch now lets you turn the Points you earn into a shot at real prizes. No money, no catch — you play, you rack up Points, and you spend them on tickets for something you actually want. Our very first prize: a brand-new Nintendo Switch 2.
For a while now, Points have been your reward for reading the moment well on Clutch. You could already spend them in the Shop. Contests are the bigger swing: instead of a small guaranteed reward, you can put your Points toward a real chance at a standout prize.
From Points to real prizes
A Contest is simple. Each one has a single headline prize and a ticket price in Points. You spend Points to buy tickets, and every ticket is one entry in the draw. The more tickets you hold, the higher your chance of winning — and that is the only thing that moves your odds.
A few things we want to be upfront about. The Points you spend are earned by playing, never bought with money. The prizes are funded by us, not pooled from other players. And once the draw happens, a ticket’s Points are spent for good. It is a bit of fun on top of the game, not a place to put your wallet.
The Nintendo Switch 2 draw
- One brand-new Nintendo Switch 2, delivery included. One winner.
- Tickets cost 100 Points each, with no limit on how many you can hold.
- Open to players aged 18+ in France and the DOM.
- Entries close on September 30, and the result lands straight in your notifications.
A draw you don’t have to trust — you can check it
Prize draws usually ask you to take the organiser’s word for it. We did not want that. The Nintendo Switch 2 winner is picked by a draw that anyone can verify, and that even we cannot rig.
Here is how. The moment entries close, we freeze the full list of tickets and publish a fingerprint of it — a SHA256 hash — before the winning randomness exists. Then we lock in a future round of drand, a public random beacon run by an independent network. When that round fires, its number is combined with the frozen list to point at exactly one ticket. Same inputs, same winner, every time.
Because we commit to the entrant list before the randomness is known, we cannot swap anyone in or out; and because the randomness comes from a public beacon, we cannot choose it. Anyone can replay the maths and land on the same winner.
You can read the full, certified rules — commitment hash, drand round, and the exact algorithm — on our contest rules page.
The community’s already in
The pot is filling up fast. Thousands of tickets are already in for the Switch 2, and new players are jumping in every day. Every ticket someone buys is one more name in the same public draw — so the sooner you are in, the longer your tickets are working for you.
How to enter
- Play markets on Clutch to earn Points — good calls pay out in Points.
- Open the Shop tab and tap the contest card at the top.
- Buy as many tickets as you like with your Points.
- Wait for the certified draw. If you win, we’ll notify you and email you to arrange delivery.
