Resolved: Yes
Results Jul 26YES if the National Hurricane Center (NHC) posts on its official website one or more public advisories, intermediate advisories, or the Tropical Cyclone Report that explicitly state Tropical Storm Bertha (or Bertha) made landfall at a location within the state of Texas at any time on or before 11:59 PM Central Time on July 25, 2026. If the NHC reports landfall only by latitude and longitude, this market resolves YES if those coordinates lie within the legal boundaries of Texas. If the NHC attributes a Texas landfall to a differently named cyclone and does not link that cyclone to Bertha, the market resolves NO.

Final crowd probability
The crowd was 55% sure, and they got it wrong.
Why: Multiple independent, credible news outlets in the supplied evidence — citing National Hurricane Center advisories — report that Tropical Storm Bertha made a second landfall on the northern Gulf Coast near the Texas–Louisiana border on Thursday, July 23, 2026, and that the storm moved inland over Texas that afternoon. Examples: NBC (AP) reports a second landfall about 75 miles northeast of Galveston, ABC and PBS report a second landfall near the Texas–Louisiana state line on Thursday, and Houston Public Media states the storm “reached Texas” Thursday afternoon per the NHC. Those independent, dated reports establish that Bertha made landfall within (or on the upper coast of) Texas on or before the July 25, 2026 23:59 CT deadline.
