YES if, between 16:00 on August 2, 2026 and 16:00 on August 9, 2026 (Kyiv local time), the Ukrainian government, the Russian Ministry of Defense, or credible international reporting such as AP or Reuters reports that Russian forces launched and that a ballistic missile or an armed attack drone struck within the administrative boundaries of the city of Kyiv. Otherwise NO. Reports that say strikes occurred only in the Kyiv region but not inside Kyiv city limits do not count. Intercepted launches that did not impact Kyiv do not count.
