YES if no later than August 17, 2026 the National Hurricane Center / NOAA issues an official advisory that assigns a tropical-storm or hurricane name to the system Bryan Norcross called "Disturbance 1". An advisory naming it 'Tropical Storm <name>' or 'Hurricane <name>' counts. If NHC/NOAA only issue an invest or a numbered tropical depression with no name, the market resolves NO. If NHC/NOAA later determine the named system originated from a different disturbance, the market follows their final determination.

How markets are built and settledWith just a week to go, the NHC could still name Disturbance 1. Given the timing, it’s unlikely they won't act before the deadline. I'm betting it gets a name.
