YES if Météo‑France's official departmental vigilance map or departmental bulletins for the local date August 1, 2026 (00:00:00–23:59:59 CEST) show that no department in Metropolitan France is assigned an 'orange' or 'red' vigilance level for the hazard Météo‑France labels 'canicule'. NO otherwise. Overseas departments are excluded. If Météo‑France changes the name or classification of heat warnings before resolution, the hazard categories published at resolution time will be mapped to 'canicule' and used to decide.
