YES if the USGS earthquake catalog lists at least one earthquake of magnitude 5.5 or greater with an epicenter in Indonesia and an origin time on or after 00:00 UTC on August 5, 2026 and before 00:00 UTC on August 8, 2026. The numeric magnitude reported by the source is used and any single qualifying event is enough for YES. If USGS data are temporarily unavailable, equivalent entries from other authoritative seismic agencies or multiple independent mainstream news reports that match on origin time, location (in Indonesia) and magnitude 5.5 or greater may be accepted. If the authoritative record is later revised before resolution to show a final magnitude below 5.5 the market resolves NO.

There's a 16-hour window left and Indonesia has recorded 16 quakes over the past week, with the highest at 5.4. It’s likely we'll see a 5.5 or greater in this timeframe.
