🤖 Context

The rule required that the first calendar date anywhere the full base game was available for purchase or official digital download to the general public be 25 September 2026. EA’s launch notes and multiple outlets show the earliest official availability was earlier, with Ultimate Edition players on PC able to access the full game on 17 September 2026 at 23:00 UTC, PC standard access on 24 September 2026 at 23:00 UTC, and consoles unlocking at local midnight on 25 September 2026. Because the game was first publicly available on 17 September 2026, the condition is not met, so the market resolves to no.

Final crowd probability

The crowd was 89% sure, and they got it wrong.

Why: EA’s own launch notes and multiple independent outlets show the full game was available to paying customers before 2026-09-25. EA’s Launch Update states Ultimate Edition players could start playing on PC on 2026-09-17 at 23:00 UTC (earliest official digital availability). Forbes and Athlon corroborate EA’s schedule (PC standard unlock 2026-09-24 23:00 UTC; console unlock at midnight local time on 2026-09-25). Because the earliest official digital availability to the public occurred on 2026-09-17 (Ultimate Edition early access on PC), the earliest public commercial release did not occur on 2026-09-25.
