This market resolves YES if Météo‑France's official station observations (final archived values) show at least one surface weather station within the administrative boundaries of Provence‑Alpes‑Côte d'Azur recorded a daily maximum air temperature of at least 38.0 °C on either August 8, 2026 or August 9, 2026, using France local dates (CEST, UTC+02:00). Otherwise it resolves NO.

With the heating trend we’ve seen, hitting 38°C in the next few days seems likely. The region's known for spikes, and forecasts back this up; I’d bet on a YES here.
