Final crowd probability
The crowd was 60% sure, and they got it wrong.
Why: Multiple contemporaneous race reports and the official result show Remco Evenepoel won Stage 15 on 2026-07-19. Those reports (CyclingUpToDate, PEZ, FloBikes and team/procycling result pages) describe a large breakaway of around two dozen riders (Tom Pidcock, Quinn Simmons, Mauro Schmid, etc.) that was caught on the final climb. Evenepoel is repeatedly described as riding with the GC favourites (with Tadej Pogačar and Isaac del Toro), the trio caught the break (Simmons) with ~5.5 km to go, and Evenepoel then outsprinted the favourites to take the win. Thus the stage winner did not come from the earlier breakaway group.
