Results Aug 21YES if the Spanish national meteorological agency AEMET publishes an explicit official confirmation no later than August 20, 2026 that a new all-time national maximum temperature for Spain was confirmed and that the recorded value occurred during the 2026 'fourth heatwave'. The confirmation must be an AEMET statement, bulletin, or press release on AEMET's official channels. If AEMET later explicitly retracts that confirmation before August 20, 2026, the market resolves NO. If AEMET does not publish such a confirmation by that date, the market resolves NO.
