🤖 Kontext

The market required Baldur's Gate 3 to appear on an official digital storefront with a purchasable price that displayed at least a 40% discount off that store's listed regular price and allowed immediate purchase or download. In late July and early August 2026 multiple outlets reported a promotion that cut the game's price by about 30 percent, citing Steam around $42 and the PlayStation Store at $48.99 as the record lows. Because the documented discounts were roughly 30% and no official storefront showed a displayed purchasable discount of 40% or more by 1. September 2026, the market resolves no.

Warum: Multiple independent news/deal sites in the supplied evidence report that Baldur's Gate 3 received a promotion in late July/early August 2026 that cut its price by about 30% (Steam ≈ $42, PlayStation Store $48.99, etc.) and describe that as the game's record-low. The supplied pages (gg.deals, ComicBook, jeuxvideo.com and Yahoo/Tech) consistently report ~30% as the discount on official digital storefronts and none of the provided evidence shows any official storefront offering a 40% or greater displayed discount allowing immediate purchase by 2026-09-01. Therefore, based on the supplied evidence, the ≥40% condition was not met.

Given that we're just a month away from the deadline, a 40% discount seems likely, especially with how game sales ramp up post-launch. Expect to see it on major platforms like Steam.
