A quick example

Say you back an underdog with 100 Credits, and a win would normally pay 53 Points. With Doubled Winnings armed, that same win pays 106 Points instead. Same bet, same risk, twice the reward. And if it loses, you have lost nothing extra: your stake was exactly the same either way.
